How to disable the flyout panel

James Moe-2
assp 2.5.5-16366
firefox 50.1.0

  The options panel(s) on the left fly out when there is a mouseover. If
the mouse moves to quickly, the flyout remains blocking access to the
normal settings buttons. It is annoying.
  Is there to disable the flyout?

Re: How to disable the flyout panel

Thomas Eckardt/eck
you can change the 'images/assp.css' file
simply commend out the line

.navMenu:hover { width: 40em; }

  That works nicely. Thank you.

  How do I do the same for the flyout search panel? It does not seem to
work using :hover.

Nothing changed for 9 years - 'hideAlphaIndex' - you'll need to close and reopen the browser after apply the change.

  That may be. In the past, though, the alpha panel did not flyout on
mouseover.
  Thank you.
