strange issue - spamdb/helo deleted

DataPacket
Having a strange issue on one of our assp installations under Debian 7.

After some time the spamdb file and helo file in the root assp folder
will be deleted and I start seeing warnings in the log.

[Worker_4] Warning: unable to open /home/assp/spamdb.helo to load HeloBlack
[Worker_3] Warning: unable to open /home/assp/spamdb to load Spamdb

The spamdb does load on start-up. After running for a few hours the
spamdb and spam helo files go missing until i restore from backup and
restart assp.

Any idea on what might cause this?

Your backup process possibly?  Really, insufficient information so grasping at straws.

I'm running on Debian 7 and have not encountered this:

lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Debian
Description:    Debian GNU/Linux 7.9 (wheezy)
Release:        7.9
Codename:       wheezy

No active backups are being made while ASSP is running. Not sure what
other information to provide. Was running the latest version and
downgraded to ASSP version 2.4.5(15162), but still have the same issue.

I'm currently running ASSP version 2.4.6(15334) at work and at home.  Home is less then 200 messages daily, work is closer to 15k.

some scheduled AV scan (e.g. clamAV) which includes the ASSP folder and
seeing some phish or in any case "bad" stuff matching some signature,
deletes (or moves to the quarantine folder) those files ?

Okay your message gave me a thought and it looks like we had Cron that
moves files and it was set to broad moving the spamdb files. Thank you
for the help.
